Description: This layer shows representative stream conditions for tributaries and subwatersheds of Montgomery County, Maryland, for the period of 2016-2021. These stream conditions are calculated by averaging the scores for benthic macroinvertebrates (aquatic insects) and fish, for the representative stream monitoring station(s) within each tributary, for the most recent year that particular watershed was sampled within the round. The field 'Narrative' reflects the categorical condition rating, and should be used for symbology, with the following colors: 'Excellent' (blue), 'Good' (green), 'Fair' (yellow), 'Poor' (red), and 'No stream monitoring data available...' (grey).
