These facilities can be above or below ground, as well as structural or non-structural, including ESD \u2013 Environmental Site Design practices. MC-DEP\u2019s Stormwater Maintenance and Inspection Program is responsible for inspecting and ensuring the maintenance of all public and private stormwater management facilities within Montgomery County (excluding the municipalities of the Cities of Rockville, Gaithersburg, and Takoma Park), to ensure compliance with state regulations. <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><P /><P STYLE=\"margin:0 0 0 0;\"><SPAN><SPAN>Each stormwater management facility is represented by a point in this GIS layer, and attributed with key information such as a unique identifier (ASSET), structure type (STRUC_TYPE and TYPE_DESCRIP fields), MDE structure type (MDE_STRUCT), Sediment Control Permit number (SEDCONPMT), Approval (APPR_DATE) and Final (FINAL_DATE) Dates, Department (DEPARTMENT), which indicates facility ownership and maintenance responsibilities, and a Status (STATUS) field.
